Job Summary

A personal and commercial insurance company has an open position for a Remote Workers Compensation Claims Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Investigate and handle all New York Workers' Compensation claims
• Perform special claims investigation
• Operate on an independent basis with little supervision

Qualifications for this position include:

• 4-year degree in business administration or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years as Claims Specialist or 3-4 years adjusting experience
• Ability to assume duties of the Claims Supervisor in the Supervisor's absence
