Job Summary

A provider of healthcare management services has an open position for a Remote Workers Compensation Claims Specialist Lost Time Adjuster.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Receiving claim, confirming policy coverage and acknowledging the claim
  • Determining validity and compensability of the claim
  • Establishing reserves and authorizing payments within reserving authority limits

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn rapidly to develop knowledge and understanding of claims practice
  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
