Job Summary
A company is looking for a Renewables Transmission Planning & Interconnection Manager, Technical Studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports transmission planning interconnection studies for operational and development needs
- Facilitates power flow, stability, and dynamic analysis using various modeling tools
- Develops tools in Python, SQL, and/or MS Excel to automate the study process and supports renewable interconnection stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering
- Hands-on experience with power flow modeling and interconnection studies
- Experience leading transmission and interconnection initiatives
- Understanding of the transmission interconnection application process and electricity market policy
- Working knowledge of utility-scale renewable energy operations
