Research Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Manager to contribute to animal welfare improvements within the US food industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update science-based technical resources to promote higher farm animal welfare practices and plant-forward diets
• Provide technical support to the US Food Business, Campaigns, and Fundraising teams, including answering queries and preparing for meetings
• Represent the organization in external forums and build relationships with US producers and industry groups

Required Qualifications

• Experience in animal welfare, animal science, meat science, or related fields
• Familiarity with regenerative farming and plant-based dietary choices
• Ability to conduct research and analyze data
• Experience in developing training sessions or educational materials
• Relevant academic background in a related discipline
