Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to manage patient account staff and ensure proper reimbursement from payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage aging accounts receivable and analyze cash flow improvement opportunities
• Prepare escalation packages and respond to claim denials from insurance companies
• Collaborate with support teams to address identified issues and monitor payer communications

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related area
• 2-4 years of experience in Healthcare Administration or Business Office
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare accounts receivable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• HFMA-Patient Accounts or Hospital Accounting Certification encouraged
