Job Summary
A company is looking for a Safety and Loss Control Consultant who will work remotely and assess safety efforts for policyholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct loss analysis and on-site safety surveys to identify hazards
- Prepare reports and recommendations for improving safety programs
- Provide training and guidance to policyholders and safety trainees
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field required
- Preference for a master's degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene
- Two years of experience in occupational safety management or consulting preferred
- Certifications such as CSP, CIH, ARM, or ASP are preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and NFPA standards is required
