Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary

To provide exceptional support to patients and referring providers, the full-time remote Scheduling Specialist will manage inbound calls, coordinate appointments, and process documentation to ensure a smooth scheduling experience, following an initial 6 months of onsite training in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and schedule patient examinations according to company policy while maintaining positive interactions with patients and referring offices
• Pre-certify exams with insurance companies and verify insurance for same-day add-ons as required
• Maintain accurate patient data in information systems and communicate scheduling changes to technologists to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in using computer systems and typing
• Able to handle a multi-level phone system with a high volume of calls
