Security Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Developer to enhance its cybersecurity capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop expertise in various threat surfaces and telemetry
• Propose improvements to detection coverage and efficacy
• Participate in the full software development life cycle and document research findings

Required Qualifications and Education

• Experience in developing security products/systems with a focus on OS specific telemetry, SIEM detections, or EDR detections
• Proficiency in at least two development languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C/C++
• Familiarity with security tooling including EDR providers and SIEMs
• Understanding of DevOps methods/tooling and secure development practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies like SCRUM or Kanban
