Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior associate with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for ensuring accurate financial information
- Review and assess exception reports, investigate variances, and prepare journal entries
- Streamline accounting processes, implement new technologies, and provide training to staff members
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA path required, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in public or private accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Experience working in ERP financial systems
