Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to contribute to the monthly close process and maintain internal controls in accordance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Support various aspects of accounting management including GL, AR, AP, and reporting
• Perform month-end close procedures and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Utilize accounting IT systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Solid knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Three to five years of experience in public accounting and industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA is strongly preferred
