Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the fully remote Senior Accountant will manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting on a 6-7 month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience is required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis
