Senior Actuarial Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Manager responsible for improving actuarial operations and guiding team members in pricing and reserving models.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent methods and assumptions across all lines of business for loss trends and reporting
• Develop predictive and descriptive tools, monitor portfolio KPIs, and analyze data from various sources
• Mentor team members, manage hiring needs, and support professional development within the actuarial team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• ACAS certification or ability to gain certification upon hire
• Minimum of 5 years of professional actuarial experience in the P&C industry
• Experience with workers' compensation preferred
• Proficiency in SQL is required; knowledge of Python and R is a plus
