Senior Applied Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Research Scientist in Multimodal Retrieval.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop efficient models and pipelines for extracting text content from various modalities
• Craft datasets, metrics, and validation scripts to establish standard methodologies for research
• Assist in scaling pipelines to production capability through the development of NVIDIA Inference Microservices

Required Qualifications

• Master's, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in retrieval or multimodal research
• 3+ years of experience developing multimodal systems and information retrieval
• Strong understanding of the Python deep learning ecosystem (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Track record of publication in leading conferences related to retrieval research
• Experience with best practices in batching, streaming, and scaling ingestion pipelines
