Senior Assessment Data Scientist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Assessment Data Scientist to develop innovative literacy assessments using advanced statistical methods and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experts to build a modern assessment combining IRT, adaptive assessment, and AI
- Manage item development and standards alignment using generative AI
- Design algorithms for equating, formative measurement, and analytics
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in statistics, psychometrics, data science, educational measurement, or a related field
- Experience in psychometrics and K-12 assessments, preferably with CBM and norm-referenced assessments
- Hands-on experience with EdTech products
- Solid understanding of Bayesian statistics, IRT, and multi-stage testing
- Familiarity with Python and/or R for data analysis
