Senior Associate Data Builder

Job Summary

Building and enhancing data models, the full-time Senior Associate Data Builder will translate business requirements into standardized data assets within the Analytics Data Warehouse, focusing on reliability and usability in a remote/hybrid/in-office setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into effective star schema data models
• Develop fact and dimension tables and implement ETL processes to ensure data reliability and performance
• Document data models and conduct data exploration to support validation and analysis processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience, with 2-3 years in data engineering or data warehouse development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouse environments, preferably Snowflake
• Experience with ETL tools, such as Airflow, and proficiency in Python, including Jupyter Notebooks
• Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts and experience with data visualization tools like Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI
