Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Auditor in the Provider Audit and Reimbursement department.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Medicare cost reports and perform complex rate reviews for various healthcare facilities
- Mentor and train junior auditors, providing feedback and identifying training needs
- Establish and maintain constructive provider relations while ensuring compliance with CMS regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of Medicare cost report auditing experience
- Experience with Uniform Desk Reviews and audits for large or complex hospitals
- Ability to prepare workpapers according to CMS standards
- Demonstrated involvement in training or special projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
