Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C# and .Net technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using the .Net framework and MVC architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and improve software engineering processes

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong expertise in C# and the .Net framework, including experience with RESTful APIs and SQL Server
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and experience with version control systems like GIT
