Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development using .Net technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage software development tasks, including requirements definition, test planning, and execution
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to create and maintain .Net back-end applications and ensure application performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and promote good software engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
