Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in full-stack development, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and provide development support while working remotely within the Veterans Affairs department.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members, promoting good software engineering practices and Agile methodologies

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and MVC architecture
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
