Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net back-end applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile best practices and deliver solutions

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong C# knowledge
• Proficiency in MVC architecture and experience with RESTful APIs
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
