Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C# within a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while participating in daily stand-ups
• Develop and maintain .Net back-end applications, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness through CI/CD practices
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and implement long-term solutions

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong proficiency in C# and MVC architecture
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
