Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including testing and integration of software systems
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality through unit testing and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile methodologies for improved reusability

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Proficiency in C#, .Net framework, and back-end application development with MVC architecture
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, database design with SQL Server, and Entity Framework
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
