Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development tasks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition for software systems, including test planning and execution
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to create and maintain .Net back-end applications, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members, applying good software engineering practices and Agile methodologies

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in database design and development, particularly with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Five or more years of professional experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
