Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net back-end applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and promote good software engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
