Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs project, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C# within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems
• Develop back-end applications utilizing the .Net framework and MVC architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure high-quality software delivery

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in software development
• Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and back-end application development
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
