Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration
• Develop back-end applications using C# within the .Net framework and ensure application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as unit testing frameworks
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
