Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Compliance Counsel to ensure adherence to legal standards and mitigate legal risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage company-wide compliance programs
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance vulnerabilities
- Lead internal investigations into suspected compliance policy violations
Required Qualifications
- JD degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a compliance lawyer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Experience in providing strategic advice on compliance-related issues
- Proficient in compliance software and technology platforms is a plus
