Senior Corporate Counsel, Product
Job Summary
Passionate about solving complex legal challenges, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel, Product will advise product, engineering, and go-to-market teams throughout the product lifecycle, focusing on legal risk assessments, compliance with privacy laws, and supporting product launches in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a primary legal partner for technical and non-technical teams, guiding product development and addressing legal risks
- Conduct assessments of privacy, regulatory, and intellectual property concerns to support the product lifecycle from design to launch
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and data protection agreements to facilitate product launches and ensure compliance
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- 8+ years of legal experience, particularly in-house, supporting SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS product development
- Experience counseling AI product and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of US and global privacy regulations, intellectual property, and data security
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
