Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager

Job Summary

Managing technical cybersecurity projects remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager will oversee project direction, communication, and coordination to ensure successful delivery within budget and time constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects with internal and external dependencies, ensuring alignment with scope, risk, and budget
• Develop and review project plans while tracking financial information and resolving discrepancies
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and facilitate project issue resolution, change management, and risk tracking

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity Project Management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in IT
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and CompTIA Security+ certifications required within 180 days of hire
• Knowledge of Information Security frameworks, standards, and project management methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and understanding of Agile methodologies
