Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to join their team in developing cutting-edge technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations for new data technologies and tools
• Design, optimize, and maintain data models using Power BI and Microsoft Analysis Services
• Manage data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory/Synapse Pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience with DAX for developing calculated measures and optimizing data models
• Proficiency in the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Synapse and Databricks
• Hands-on experience with Spark for data engineering tasks
• Demonstrated ability to conduct POCs and evaluate data technologies
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including late-night and rotational on-call duties
