Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions, the remote Senior Data Engineer will architect Data Lakes and Data Warehouses while optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and collaborating across technical teams to enhance data engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and scalable enterprise data platforms
- Develop, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data engineering solutions
- Communicate technical architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and risks to both technical and executive stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in AWS architecture and cloud-based data engineering solutions
- Experience designing and implementing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and scalable cloud data platforms
- Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Java, Scala, SQL, or R
- Experience with modern data technologies such as SQL, NoSQL databases, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Amazon Kinesis
- Deep understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and scalable data processing techniques
