Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to develop machine learning models and analytical solutions for fraud detection and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms to analyze large data sets for fraud and risk insights
• Collaborate with Cloud technologists to optimize algorithms for cloud environments
• Implement new data modeling solutions and integrate new data sources into existing frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• Education: ME/MSc in a related field or equivalent work experience; PhD preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in a similar role; PhD with 2 years preferred
• Proficient in developing machine learning models and data-driven algorithms
• Extensive experience with Hadoop, Spark, and distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python (especially pySpark) and knowledge of SQL
