Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer (SQL) to analyze and improve database performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current state and document requirements for stabilizing and scaling the database environment
- Identify opportunities for improvement in application and data processes and propose solutions
- Participate in technical change-control processes and recommend enhancements for monitoring and issue prevention
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Experience with cloud-based solutions
- Excellent SQL skills with significant experience in stored procedures
- Proficiency with database optimization techniques
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data solutions
