Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Director of Data Platform to lead the development and management of its enterprise data platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the strategic direction for the enterprise data platform
- Oversee the architecture and integration of data systems to ensure a scalable and secure data infrastructure
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and architects while collaborating with business units to meet data needs
Required Qualifications and Education:
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data platform engineering or architecture, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Extensive experience in data architecture, data engineering, and platform management
- Proficiency with cloud platforms and modern data technologies
