Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Engineer: AI and Scientific Computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve tools and architecture for high-performance computing
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and research staff to develop new features and solve complex problems
- Productize AI, machine learning, and data analysis capabilities for the core product
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building scientific or quantitative data-intensive software
- Expertise in the scientific Python stack and machine learning
- Experience in architecting and optimizing distributed, parallel computing systems
- Advanced degree (MSc or Ph.D.) in a STEM field is preferred
- Knowledge of Linux operating system and experience with Celery and MongoDB
