Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Director of Engineering to lead its product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision and strategy for a new line of business
- Support and mentor a team of managers and engineers, providing technical guidance
- Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
- Experience leading high-performance engineering teams
- Experience building highly-available distributed back-end systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as GCP
- Past startup experience is highly preferred
