Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Health Data Analyst to enhance healthcare cost data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes SAS and SQL to analyze claims and membership data
- Develops and implements plans to measure healthcare delivery cost and utilization trends
- Leads analytical projects and coordinates all stages of the development life cycle
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Health Care Administration, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred
- 7 years of related experience in data modeling, informatics, and analysis
- Experience with claims data and managed healthcare or insurance operations preferred
- Proficient in SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with external grouping methodologies such as DRG, ETG, and DxCG
