Senior Linux System Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer to lead global system deployments across multiple datacenters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, development, and implementation of global deployments
- Automate large scale upgrades across thousands of machines using Python or Bash
- Write formal documentation on configuration standards and infrastructure design
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional Linux (CentOS/RHEL) engineering experience
- Automation/Scripting skills in Bash and Python
- Hands-on experience with Linux file-systems design and optimization
- Experience with central authentication systems (LDAP/FreeIPA)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
