Senior Media Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Media Systems Engineer to lead the design and implementation of media production systems and cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical implementation of broadcast production systems and cloud infrastructure for content acquisition and distribution
• Modernize legacy media production systems to support advanced broadcasting technologies
• Coordinate construction, upgrades, and installation of media production facilities and equipment

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of broadcast engineering experience
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience in broadcast facilities design
• Strong understanding of baseband/IP video, audio, and digital compression techniques
• Knowledge of file transfer acceleration technologies
• Familiarity with major media systems and related vendors
