Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer specializing in MongoDB.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage MongoDB infrastructure on Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and performance
- Implement high-availability strategies and collaborate with teams to define Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and develop incident response playbooks
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years managing database platforms in production, with 2+ years focused on MongoDB
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and experience automating database operations using IaC tools
- Deep understanding of MongoDB internals, including sharding and replica sets
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and their storage integrations
- Proactive in improving MongoDB performance, reliability, and automation
