Senior Quality Risk Manager

Job Summary

Performing internal underwriting audits, the full-time Senior Quality Risk Manager will ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, provide training to lower-level staff, and analyze mortality and morbidity trends in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of underwriting work to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Assist and train lower-level staff while reviewing their work as needed
• Analyze and report on mortality and morbidity trends specific to life and protection insurance markets

Required qualifications

• Five years of underwriting experience with mortality and morbidity products
• Two years of directly related auditing experience
• Thorough knowledge of underwriting practices and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
• Ability to work independently on audits and interpret a wide range of information
• Experience with contestable claims and underwriting audits is preferred
