Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Security Consultant for the North Central region (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the vulnerability management lifecycle and assist in building and maintaining vulnerability management programs
- Interpret vulnerability scan results and develop remediation strategies, including designing compensating controls
- Collaborate with customers to foster positive relationships and provide cybersecurity expertise throughout the professional services lifecycle
Required Qualifications and Education
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7
- Basic scripting experience using languages like BASH, PowerShell, or Python
- Understanding of operating systems including Windows Server, Mac OSX, and Linux distributions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Security, or related discipline preferred
- Familiarity with application security vulnerabilities, particularly those in the OWASP Top 10
