Senior Security Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Security Specialist Sr - Policy & Controls Governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify gaps and opportunities to enhance the cybersecurity program using a maturity framework
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical security controls are implemented as part of risk mitigation
- Support internal audits and regulatory exams, coordinating narrative and artifact generation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; higher education or relevant certifications preferred
- 8+ years of industry-relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services
- Expertise in frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and PCI
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are a plus
- Experience with cybersecurity policy and compliance management
