Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from anywhere within Canada, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud environments while leading incident management processes and driving automation in cloud operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop software tools for the cloud operations team and automate cloud operations and deployment
• Implement effective cloud infrastructure and operational procedures, ensuring high availability of systems
• Provide 24/7 shift-based support, including rotating on-call duties for incident triaging and resolution

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in automation and administration of IT systems
• 3+ years of experience in administering cloud infrastructure for enterprise SaaS or PaaS in public clouds such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• 1+ years of programming experience in languages such as Python or Node.js
• 1+ years of experience in creating CI/CD processes or managing Kubernetes environments
