Senior Snowflake Administrator
Job Summary
To support a growing data platform, the full-time Senior Snowflake Administrator will design, implement, secure, and optimize the enterprise Snowflake platform within AWS cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Snowflake platform, including databases, schemas, and user roles
- Design scalable Snowflake architectures to support analytics and data engineering workloads
- Optimize performance, security, and cost efficiency of the Snowflake environment
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of database administration experience, including 3+ years with Snowflake
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, security, and performance optimization
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with Python or Shell scripting for automation
- Experience managing Snowflake in AWS cloud environments
