Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Rails) to design, build, and maintain the server-side of their web application.
Key Responsibilities
- Build new features and maintain the existing application to enhance incident response and alerting
- Participate actively in engineering ceremonies, code reviews, and customer feedback sessions
- Respond to critical production issues through a shared on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of backend software development experience, particularly in Go, Ruby on Rails, or React
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time in a remote/hybrid setting
- Self-starter capable of tackling challenging problems independently
- Passion for writing maintainable code and improving product quality
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
