Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will write code to enhance applications using Golang and other languages, while contributing to database design, Agile ceremonies, and maintaining high code quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement databases, create efficient queries, and refactor application code for improved performance and stability
- Participate in Agile software development ceremonies and conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality
- Collaborate with team leads and support teams to aid in customer assistance and respond to security threats
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and five years of experience in a related role
- Five years of experience with programming languages such as Golang, Python, Java, C#, or C/C++
- Three years of experience with microservices architecture, including APIs and monitoring
- Two years of experience with container technologies, virtualization, or distributed systems, and public cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- One year of experience with database design and implementation
