Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical vision for the Blockchain Platform team, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will architect and evolve core infrastructure, manage large-scale architectural initiatives, and drive engineering standards to enhance the performance and reliability of blockchain operations in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-quarter technical strategy for Blockchain Platform, including nodes, wallets, and indexing
• Architect and evolve core platform infrastructure for high availability, low latency, and security at global scale
• Lead end-to-end design and rollout of large, cross-team architectural initiatives, ensuring clear milestones and measurable outcomes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years at a staff-plus level in high-throughput transaction systems
• Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols at the node or protocol level, particularly in staking infrastructure or bridging protocols
• Proven track record of leading large-scale architectural initiatives from design to production in critical infrastructure environments
• Experience applying AI or agent-based automation to improve operational efficiency or reliability
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
