Senior Structural Steel Detailer
Job Summary
Leading complex structural steel detailing projects, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will produce high-quality fabrication drawings and coordinate with engineers and project managers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication requirements
- Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, while managing revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with team members to resolve design and fabrication issues, performing QA/QC checks on drawings
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
- Experience managing projects independently while leading a detailing team
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
