Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer with remote work opportunities, this position focuses on leading Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, producing high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings, and collaborating with engineers and project managers.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
- Produce detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and material take-offs while coordinating with project teams for accuracy
- Review and check drawings for quality and compliance, managing revisions throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
